Dyeing
synthetic fibres
Tintoria Emiliana’s experience with
dyeing sportswear garments has allowed the company to acquire
specialized skills in dyeing synthetic fabrics and with the relative
finishing processes.
One of these, the water-repellence process,
is particularly appreciated for jackets.
When it comes to POLYESTER and PE/Nylon blend fabrics, Tintoria
Emiliana was one of the very first companies to develop the garment-dyed
process using specially designed machinery. So much so, a few
years ago, the company established a joint-venture with Komatsu,
a leading Japanese manufacturer of extremely high quality fabrics
for which Tintoria Emiliana has become the reference point on
the European market.
Particular care is taken when selecting dispersed dyes for PE,
as those known for their allergenic potential are not used.
When it comes to NYLON, Tintoria Emiliana has become particularly
specialized with treatments for technical jackets, also in blends
with other fibres, coated or impregnated with resin.
“SHADY” TREATMENT
The previously dyed garment is “dirtied”
by applying colour differently on the surface, depending on its
construction. The contrast between the two shades is highly evident,
especially around pockets, seams or other applications.
FROSTED TREATMENT ®
Achieves chiaroscuro effects with the same
shade of colour.
The garment will appear darker inside and of a less intense shade
on the outside. The result is an extremely pleasant and highly
original trendy appearance where the used and old aspect typical
of this treatment is obtained without damaging the fibre.
