Tintoria Emiliana is able to apply garment-dyed processes to jackets, pants and bomber jackets made of wool or cashmere fabrics, as well as tricot knitwear of any fineness made with both combed and carded yarns.
The dyeing processes are always carried out in the endeavour to preserve the natural characteristics of the wool yarn. This is achieved thanks to a preparation phase designed to cleanse and protect the garment during the successive dyeing process, which has also been optimized so as to alter the properties of the yarn in the least possible way.
Final finishing can be customized to suit requirements. For those who desire infinite softness, Tintoria Emiliana proposes the exclusive “cashmere feel” finish.

CLASSIC WOOL DYEING

FROSTED TREATMENT ®

Tintoria Emiliana’s original patent. Achieves chiaroscuro effects with the same shade of colour. The garment will appear darker inside and of a less intense shade on the outside. The result is an extremely pleasant and highly original trendy appearance where the used and old aspect typical of this treatment is obtained without damaging the fibre. The “frosted” treatment achieves optimum general colour fastness, much better than similar treatments using very aggressive chemicals, such as potassium permanganate.

“BRIGHT” TREATMENT

Gives the treated garments an absolutely original shot effect thanks to a combination of two complementary shades that “blend” together.

“WATER-COLOUR” TREATMENT

This is a surface dye that, without masking the construction of the garment, achieves the colour effect and a special luminosity typical of water-colour paintings.
