Special finishes and treatments

Tintoria Emiliana provides customers with a wide range of special finishes for use with the more usual treatments.
The feel, used effect and the technical performance of the garments can be “customized” to suit the customers’ requirements (water repellence, fragrance and anti-bacterial treatments).

ENZYMATIC TREATMENTS

Perfect mastery of the application conditions allows us to achieve the required results without impairing the mechanical strength of the fabrics, whether we work with a cellulase so as to modulate a Stone-Wash effect, a singeing treatment on cotton garments or when we use a protease to limit the fuzz on wool and silk. Pectinase and amylase complete the range of these naturally based treatments, which prepare the garments for the specific dyeing process they will undergo.

WATERPROOFING TREATMENT

This is a finish to which all fabrics can be subjected. It achieves an optimum performance without altering the feel and is particularly suitable for nautical jackets and clothing.

CASHMERE FEEL

A true improving treatment that provides any type of wool with extra bulk and softness, and a texture that’s natural to the touch, not artificial. The treatment can also be applied with excellent results to cotton garments, where it achieves a very soft winter feel, especially if the fabric is polished.

PERFUMING AND DEODORIZING TREATMENT

Careful selection of microencapsulated fragrances plus a special application technology are able to obtain garments with a pleasant and persistent scent that withstands a lot of washing.
Garments made of synthetic fibres are well known for the ease with which they absorb unpleasant odours. In these cases, the deodorizing treatment efficiently reduces this inconvenience.

SAMPLE SERVICE

In the sample department, which is fully outfitted with dedicated equipment, highly specialized staff members deal with all the phases, from receiving the materials to setting up the process and checking the result the customer wishes to obtain with the treatment required.
