Dyeing
cotton, linen and cellulosic fibres
The cotton garments dyed by
Tintoria Emiliana stand out for their elegant appearance. Diversified
machinery and the different dyeing methods used allow us to dye
any type of cotton and cellulosic fibre without damage, even when
they are subjected to special treatments.
“OLD” TREATMENT
This is the technique that gives a “vintage”
appearance to the garments and which can be adjusted to suit the
customers’ requirements. Colour fastness is generally optimum,
as is the light fastness of the paler shades. Result of a treatment
that has been tried-and-tested over the years, the garments combine
a used appearance with a particular lustre.
“DOUBLE OLD” TREATMENT
A particular dichroic “vintage”
effect obtained by combining two different shades of colour, one
that goes deeper into the fibre and a second, more superficial
hue.
“TWICE” TREATMENT®
This is a process that is carried out exclusively
by Tintoria Emiliana. It achieves two-colour effects that can
also be extremely vivid, without altering the texture of the cotton
on either the right or under-sides. The fabric is previously roller-printed
as a bolt in order to achieve the final effect with the garment-dyed
process.
“FROSTED” TREATMENT
®
Tintoria Emiliana’s original patent.
Achieves chiaroscuro effects with the same shade of colour. The
garment will appear darker inside and of a less intense shade
on the outside. The result is an extremely pleasant and highly
original trendy appearance where the used and old aspect typical
of this treatment is obtained without damaging the fibre. It is
particularly suitable for knitwear and T-shirts.
“SHADY” TREATMENT
The previously dyed garment is “dirtied”
by applying colour differently on the surface, depending on its
construction. The contrast between the two shades is highly evident,
especially around pockets, seams or other applications.
RUBBER COATING
Natural latex based resins are applied to
the made-up garment to obtain a firm texture that’s also
soft to the touch along with a coated effect distributed in an
uneven way.
“OVERCAST” TREATMENT
This can be applied to tricot knitwear,
T-shirts and brushed sweaters. The insides of garments treated
in this way are much lighter than the outside while the texture
of the cotton remains unchanged.
"FIXED" TREATMENT
A must from Tintoria Emiliana. Resistant
and great looking.
“BRIGHT” TREATMENT
Gives the treated garments an absolutely
original shot effect thanks to a combination of two complementary
shades that “blend” together.
